Canva turns a phone into a capable design studio. We used it daily for social posts, thumbnails and flyers.
Templates and editing
Thousands of templates cover every format. Drag-and-drop editing works surprisingly well with a finger, and layers are easy to manage.
Free vs Pro
The free plan is generous. Pro adds background removal, brand kits and premium assets, worth it if you design every day.
Performance
Large projects can lag on older phones. Keep designs to a few pages for the smoothest experience.
What we liked
- Huge template library
- Easy to learn
- Syncs with desktop
What could be better
- Some features locked to Pro
- Heavy on older phones
Our verdict
